6th ANNUAL RELAY FOR LIFE POKER RUN AT THE POWER HOUSE BAR & GRILL LOCATED AT 999 MAHONING AVE., WARREN, OH.  SUNDAY, JULY 12TH. RAIN OR SHINE.  SIGN UPS START AT 11:00 AM.  BIKES OUT BY NOON AND BACK BY 5:00PM.  COST IS $10.OO @ PER PERSON WHICH INCLUDE A GREAT MEAL AND LOTS OF FUN !  THERE WILL BE A CHINESE AUCTION, 50/50, DOOR PRIZES AND A BIKE CONTEST !! PRE-REGISTRATION IS JULY 6TH AT THE POWER HOUSE FROM 6-9 PM. COME RIDE, HAVE FUN AND HELP THE AMERICAN CANCER SOCIETY.

 

Sunday, July 19, 2009 - 1pm-6pm:  Chinese Auction and spaghetti dinner  at Warren G. 11TH ANNUAL STRETCH & DAVE MEMORIAL POKER RUN SATURDAY JULY 25TH, 2009.  SIGN UP FROM 11:00 A.M. - 1:00 P.M. AT FERNENGEL'S TAVERN, 496 S. BROADWAY AVE. SALEM, OHIO.  $10.00 PER PERSON INCLUDES MEAL, BAND, AND DOOR PRIZES.ALL PROCEEDS BENEFIT "HOSPICE OF THE VALLEY"

 

The Leetonia Little Bears are holding a Poker Run/Scavenger Hunt on July 25, 2009 to raise money to help with operating costs for the season. Registration is from10am – 12pm with first person out at 12:00 pm.Cost for the Poker Run is $10.00 rider $5.00 passenger. Cost for Scavenger Hunt is $10.00 per participant. 2nd Annual Charity Run for Hospice, in memory of Dave Grimes from Salem Ohio. The run is Sunday July 26, starting at the Angels for Animals banquet center at St. Rte. 165, Canfield Ohio. The first bike is out at noon. We are also having a chinese auction, 50/50 raffle, great food and music. The price is $15 for singles, $25 for doubles. A Car Cruise on Sunday, August 16th, at BB Rooners in Salem will benefit the Salvation Army Christmas Tree Program.  The show is from 10a-2p and cash prizes will be awarded:  $250 for First Place and $100 for 2nd & 3rd. There will also be a 50/50, lotto tree & a DJ.  That same afternoon (Sunday, 8/16) there will a Benefit Concert at Ponderosa Park, featuring four local bands (including Abby Road, Beatles tribute).  Proceeds from this event will also support the Salvation Army Christmas Tree Program.   For more information and to find a ticket location new year go to www.salemevents.com.  

 

 

 

The Steven Wolfe Scholarship Golf Scramble is set for Saturday, August 15th at Old Avalon Golf Course in Warren.  This is a 3 person scramble and your $70 entry fee includes breakfast, lunch and a dinner provided by the Outback Steakhouse in Niles.  Hole in One contest, door prizes, raffles and cash prizes for top 3 teams.  Proceeds benefit a scholarship fund at Huntington Bank in Steve's honor.  43 awards have been granted to date as a result of fundraising efforts.   Y-103's Lynn Davis will be there too for a day of fellowship and fun! Woodrow Wilson High School is having an Alumni Scholarship Dinner Dance Saturday August 22^nd at Mr. Anthony’s in Boardman. Entertainment is by the Jack Vasko Orchestra and by DJ Mike Damiano and there’s a great Chinese Auction. Good food, good company, and good memories!
